Description

Full-time Human Resources Assistant for daily HR duties to include the following:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records and documentation
  • Answers frequently asked questions relating to standard policies, benefits, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, HRIS and benefits database
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department
  • May assist with payroll functions including reviewing timesheets and various payroll related reports; complete various post-payroll related reports as needed
  • Assist with new employee onboarding to include background check and pre-employment drug screen scheduling
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork and supporting documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the HR staff with administrative and clerical functions relating to benefits, employee records, payroll, and employee relations
  • Generate scheduled or requested reports
  • Assist with annual benefit enrollment processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in administrative duties such as communications, data entry and record keeping
  • Tact and professionalism in handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint) along with the ability to pick up new software easily.

Minimum of 2-3 years HR experience preferred.
