Electronics Technician (BIO-MED I): 99^th MECS

Location: Ft Dix, NJ

Salary: SCA Rate + Health & Welfare

Start date: Contingent upon Award

Education & Experience: Must be graduated from a DoD or civilian biomedical technician school. Shall have knowledge of schematics and have the ability to work under supervision on repairs, safety testing and provide preventative maintenance. Be able to maintain records, write reports, and coordinate outside repairs if needed.

Responsibilities:

13031. Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
