Data Analyst I (Huntsville, AL)
The Data Analyst I is a Junior analyst position that specializes in supporting client implementations and managing integrity or operational data systems through data extraction, cleansing, analysis, and reporting.. This position supports their team by conducting complex statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and data mining to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that influence effective logistics execution. This individual contributes to data strategy development by ensuring data quality and integrity to maintain compliance and accuracy. The Data Analyst helps design dynamic dashboards (using tools like Tableau or Power BI) and helps translate technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
Essential Duties, Skills and Responsibilities
• Performs data management and data analysis
• Ensures successful task execution of predictive modeling requirements
• Supports process improvement and system implementation efforts
• Liaisons with key Government and corporate personnel
• Helps evaluate and assess the strengths and weaknesses of various programs/activities
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
• Performs data mining, statistical modeling and machine learning
• Uses various MS automation products to include all MS Office apps and Power BI.
• Monitor projects to ensure goals are met
• Schedule and manage tasks effectively
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and multitasking skills
Minimum Qualifications
• 1-3 years of Army logistics or Army analytics experience
• Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics or related field
• Secret Clearance required
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.
• U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior U.S. Army data analytics experience
• Experience in Army logistics/Supply chain analysis
• Experience with Army STAMIS to include GCSS-A and Vantage
• Experience with MS Office products including Power BI and Power Automate
• Familiarity/experience with developing graphics
Security / Compliance Requirements
• Secret Clearance required
• Must comply with all installation access requirements.
• Must complete all required Government training.
